As a young child I always had animals at home; dogs, cats, hamsters and a budgie.
The dogs were often rescue dogs that I took to training classes so that I could learn more about dogs and how to improve their behaviour. The most important outcome was to improve the dogs confidence and enjoyment of life.
Our last dog we had from a puppy and he was a very lively Border Collie called Sam. He was a very special dog and we enjoyed many holidays with him in Scotland & Cumbria.
Having taken early retirement from West Yorkshire Police my partner and I had the opportunity to work for my niece as dog walkers for her dog walking company. We enjoyed meeting all the dogs so much and found that we missed them after we finished, which is why we have decided to set up our own dog walking business locally.

From an early age I had many pets at home but never had a dog, which was not from the lack of trying, but I enjoyed walking our neighbours dogs. It was not until later in life that I was able to get a dog when I felt home life allowed me to give the care and attention all dogs need.
Anne and I now look after friend's dogs at home whilst their owners are away, which we enjoy tremendously, and now look forward to our friends going away!
Of late I have been working with Anne as a dog walker for her niece's company, which I really enjoyed.
We both came to realise that we enjoyed the dog walking experience so much, and had a great deal to offer, that we decided to start our own dog walking business.
So here goes!
